February 2010Two senior officers from the Singapore Police Special Operations Command K-9 unit have made their annual purchase trip again this year purchasing five of our Labradors. NDEA visit Northern IrelandThree team leaders from the NDEA dog unit (Seychelles) have just completed a three week dog handling course here in Downpatrick Northern Ireland. They have been through an intensive programme and have been instructed in general handling techniques and deployment. Five Year ProgrammeBoth Directors from ACT have just returned from the Seychelles after spending a week with the NDEA (Seychelles) and their team working alongside their Narcotic Enforcement agents in the fight to rid the Islands of unwanted imported drugs with dogs supplied earlier this year. G8 Summit 2009ACT Detection Dogs are very proud to be able to record that the recent G8 summit of the world.s most powerful leaders in L'Aquila Italy were protected by 15 Labradors specificaly trained as explosive detector dogs selected at our own kennels in Downpatrick over the past months.
