Five Year Programme

Both Directors from ACT have just returned from the Seychelles after spending a week with the NDEA (Seychelles) and their team working alongside narcotic enforcement agents in the fight to rid the Islands of unwanted imported drugs with dogs supplied earlier this year.

The dogs have already located several seizures and are providing an edge to the work of the agency not previously enjoyed.

There will be a considerable development of this unit over the next few years and ACT are to be the sole providers of training, management structures and dog supply.

Update

Eric Burchell has just completed a six week training programme for NDEA personnel in Mahe and returning with an order for four new dogs with delivery 2010 and further additional dogs later in the year with selected handlers visiting ACT for a three week training course in January.
